Ayia Napa Marina, in Cyprus, the iconic award-winning mix-used development is entering a new, exciting and promising era this summer. The year started with two significant distinctions for the project. The Honorary Yachting Award for the contribution to the yachting industry was held in Greece in March 2023 and the Award in the Category Tourism, Entertainment, Hospitality at the 15th In Business Awards organized in June 2023. While the internal Ayia Napa Marina teams are working towards the delivery, which is expected within July 2023, of the first twisted building in Cyprus and among the 34 twisted buildings worldwide - the East Tower - the project is evolving and expanding at a fast yet smooth pace. Featuring 95 apartments, including two penthouses, the East Tower is already 90% sold and offers panoramic sea views of the sandy and Blue Flag beaches of Ayia Thekla and Makronissos. The project, which features the largest Commercial Village in the greater Famagusta region with 4,000+ sq. meters, is home to some of the most decorative restaurants worldwide such as L’ Atelier Robuchon and Le Deli Robuchon. As of May 2023, the Commercial Village operates with enhanced retail, entertainment and F&B recommendations. The latest additions to the Commercial Village include a brand new Pharmacy, Tiffany Mare Boutique, Margherita Pizza Artigianale, a new fashion store – Mint Boutique and Le Sundeck Robuchon, the first of its kind worldwide which constitutes the new addition to JR Restaurants in Cyprus. Finally, the Marina in terms of operations, berthing and maintenance is also entering a promising high-season period, attracting boaters from Cyprus, Lebanon and Israel but not only. It is essential to highlight that the Marina since June 2020 has accommodated 950+ yachts while in May 2022 welcomed the first large cruise ship to one of the three dedicated achorages. A milestone for Marina Operations is the honour with the Blue Flag for 2023-2024. Ayia Napa Marina, the project that changes the tourism, nautical and leisure status of Famagusta, Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean, is expanding and its future is becoming even more extraordinary and promising.
